Paragon adheres to the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998 wherein personal data must be: processed fairly and lawfully obtained and used for one or more specified purposes only adequate, relevant and not excessive accurate and kept up to date not kept for longer than necessary processed in accordance with the rights of data subjects protect against unauthorised access, damage or destruction there are restrictions on overseas transfer: obtain explicit consent.
Paragon uses a service which is internet based and is a specifically designed service provider for the medical transcription industry using SSL encryption of all information contained therein upon uploading and return of files.
If your information contains patient/client sensitive information then I will liaise with you to set up with a client log in and password for the secure server.
A LITTLE MORE ABOUT THE SECURE SERVER.
The secure server is an internet based service specifically designed for the medical transcription industry, using SSL enryption of all information upon uploading and returning of files. Clients upload work via the secure server login and secure password into your "dictation-in file" where you upload your audio file. Your transcriber/secretary will pick up this work, complete, proof read and the document will be uploaded onto the server for your collection. You will receive an E-mail to notify you that there is a document pending in your transcription complete folder.
