How does it work?

1  The first step is to contact me to discuss your audiotyping or transcribing requirements

  covering the following points:

2  Your proposed method of sending your transcription (micro/mini/standard cassette, digital transcription or handwritten) &

  any specific requirements such as in-house stationary or templates which you'd like to use.

3  I can accept your verbal agreement to commence works and by sending me your audio/media for transcription you are agreeing to

  the terms discussed in our telephone call or Email.

4 You then forward the transcription. If you live locally I can arrange free collection service of micro/mini/standard cassette.

  If your digital audio-file contains patient sensitive information then I will liaise with you to set up with a client log in and password for

  the secure server.

5  Your completed document is subject to quality control and proof-reading against original audio, then returned in the format

  discussed (headed paper, e-mail,disc or secure server)

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT THE SECURE SERVER.

The secure server is an internet based service specifically designed for the medical transcription industry, using SSL enryption

of all information upon uploading and returning of files. Clients upload work via the secure server login and secure password into your "dictation-in file" where you upload your audio file. Your transcriber/secretary will pick up this work, complete,

proof read and the document will be uploaded onto the server for your collection. You will receive an E-mail to notify you that there is a

document pending in your transcription complete folder.

TURNAROUND TIMES

On discussion of your requirements, we will negotiate your turnaround time. This time is dependant on the length of transcription and quality.

Urgent transcriptions of a reasonable length (up to one-hour audio-time) can be produced within 24 hours.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

There are no hidden fee's. I endeavour to produce an accurate document but in the rare event of very poor quality transcription I will either contact you immediately or such problem areas in the text will be audio-marked as [unclear 00:00]. Please note it will take a transcriber longer to produce such a document.

All incoming emails, discs, CD's or other media are scanned for viruses. I will not open any unsolicited attachments to emails. All emails and attachments returned to clients are scanned for viruses - however it remains the responsibility of the client to check text, and any such attachments for viruses/worms/trojans as we do not accept any responsibility.

Paragon reserves the right to refuse any material content deemed inappropriate and will terminate works immediately.
