We use a service which is internet based and is a specifically designed service provider for the medical transcription industry using SSL encryption of all information contained therein upon uploading and return of files.
We are aware that most GP Surgeries operate EMIS as their chosen patient administration system. Word documents can be printed out or recorded onto disc to be pasted into your patient clinical records for future reference. If your information contains patient sensitive information then I will liaise with you to set up with a client log in and password for the secure server.
A LITTLE MORE ABOUT THE SECURE SERVER.
The secure server is an internet based service specifically designed for the medical transcription industry, using SSL enryption of all information upon uploading and returning of files. Clients upload work via the secure server login and secure password into your "dictation-in file" where you upload your audio file. Your transcriber/secretary will pick up this work, complete, proof read and the document will be uploaded onto the server for your collection. You will receive an E-mail to notify you that there is a document pending in your transcription complete folder.
